I joined Johnson & Johnson back in 2003 after working at Pfizer for 17 years. As Corporate Vice President, Public Affairs and Corporate Communication, I’m responsible for public relations and corporate communication for the corporation, overseeing the public affairs responsibilities and activities of our widely decentralized family of operating companies.
In addition to my responsibilities at Johnson & Johnson, I’m also a member of the Board of Directors for the Foundation for American Communications, the Arthur W. Page Society and am Trustee of the Institute for Public Relations.
I have been with Johnson & Johnson for 20 years, presently as Vice President of Corporate Equity Program Development. In my role, I have the privilege of working with global partners on initiatives that make a difference for others and help strengthen Johnson & Johnson reputation. These include initiatives such as Safe Kids Worldwide, Text4Baby, Campaign for Nursing’ Future and our philanthropic work.
I am privileged to be Vice President, Worldwide Corporate Contributions and Community Relations for Johnson & Johnson, a position I’ve held since February 2006. My team and I guide the Company’s strategic giving priorities. Our mission is to make life-changing, long-term differences in human health through community-based partnerships with hundreds of organizations around the world. Our three priority areas are: saving and improving the lives of women and children; building the skills of those who serve community health needs; and preventing diseases and reducing stigma in underserved communities.
Before assuming my current role, I was a Global President in the Consumer division of Johnson & Johnson.
I am Director, Social Media for the Corporate team at Johnson & Johnson. I manage our @JNJComm twitter handle and oversee Corporate social media strategy, policies and programs that help us build relationships and engage with communities online. Previously, I worked on communication teams for Johnson & Johnson’s diagnostic and surgical businesses, spent several years on communication teams for Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies, and was an account executive and division manager at an agency that is now part of Monster.com.
Currently, I am Director of Video Communication at Johnson & Johnson, where I have worked for 15 years. I work with our in house TV studio and manage the Johnson & Johnson Health Channel on YouTube. Prior to that, I worked for 12 years in various positions at CBS and WCBS-TV in New York City, including directing local newscasts and working as an Assistant Director for the CBS News Morning Show. I graduated in 1973, with a BA in Communication Studies from Oberlin College, in Ohio.
I am a manager of Corporate Communication, at Johnson & Johnson. An avid photographer, I oversee www.jnj.com, @JNJStories on Twitter, the corporate image gallery and the online content for a number of the Company’s publications.
I’m currently a Corporate Communications Fellow here at Johnson & Johnson. I work with the Corporate Communications team while I finish getting my masters degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. My main role is in social media, where I manage our corporate Facebook page among other duties.
I am a Corporate Communication Fellow supporting Johnson & Johnson Corporate Communication where I work mainly in social media. I graduated from The George Washington University in Spring 2010 and am currently working towards my master’s degree from the School of Communication & Information at Rutgers University.
I’m a member of the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Communication department, in our social media group…and I’m also the Company historian. While you can always find me blogging over at the Kilmer House blog, I’m the editor of JNJBTW as well.
